THE PROBLEM

Climbers are unable to engage with multiple climbing gyms unless they can afford more than one membership or pay for day passes which can cost as much as $30/day.

HOW MIGHT WE…

build a pass that is affordable for climbers while providing additional revenue and exposure for gyms?

THE SOLUTION

The Plastic Pass is a $35/mo add-on pass to the user’s current climbing gym membership that provides climbers access to any gym within The Plastic Pass network.

Climbing gyms are compensated via a profit share model based on monthly explore visitations and are provided marketing opportunities to The Plastic Pass user base.

WHAT’S UP WITH THE NAME

Climbing indoors is frequently referred to as pulling on plastic because the holds are made out of a plastic material.

The Plastic Pass name is a twist on a common climbing term.
